AnchorPoint Medical Evidence is recruiting physicians and licensed psychologists to review proposed medical nexus opinions for veterans. We prepare the draft and citation index. You decide what the evidence supports.
The assignment
A focused review, with the source records available to you.
Each standard assignment covers one condition and one proposed connection. AnchorPoint provides a complete proposed letter, a citation index, and secure access to the records uploaded by the client. You choose what to inspect, revise the opinion when needed, and sign only what you can support.

Review the prepared materials
Start with the proposed opinion and citation index. Inspect any cited passage or other available record you consider necessary.

Exercise independent judgment
Confirm the reasoning, revise it, request a different process, or conclude that no supportable opinion can be offered.

Return the completed review
We ask whether a four-business-day review window can work. The scope, deadline, and fixed fee are agreed in writing before each assignment.
Clinical independence
Your conclusion is never purchased.
Compensation covers your time and professional judgment, including a decision not to sign. It never depends on a favorable opinion, signature, VA rating, or claim outcome.
The standard workflow does not require intake screening, a veteran interview or examination, a mandatory full-file review, or drafting a letter from scratch. If the evidence or clinical question calls for more, you tell us before the assignment proceeds.
Baseline qualifications
- Active physician or psychologist license
- Relevant clinical expertise for accepted cases
- Authority to provide the assigned opinion in the applicable jurisdiction
- Professional liability coverage appropriate for the work
- Clear written communication and independent medical judgment
Experience with independent record review, disability evaluation, or written medical opinions is useful. Familiarity with veterans' disability claims is welcome but does not replace clinical qualifications.
